1.What's MHC Alloy Sheet?
MHC alloy sheet (Molybdenum Hafnium Carbon Alloy Sheet) is a high-performance molybdenum-based high-temperature alloy sheet material using high-purity molybdenum as the matrix, with precise addition of hafnium (Hf) and carbon (C) elements. Fine HfC dispersion strengthening phases are formed in situ through high-temperature vacuum processing. It combines the inherent advantages of molybdenum with particle strengthening mechanisms, delivering excellent comprehensive high-temperature performance.
2. Features of CTIA's MHC Alloy Sheet
(1) High-Temperature Strength
Strength reaches approximately 800 MPa at room temperature and maintains about 500 MPa even in 1000°C even in a high-temperature environment of 1000°C, meeting complex high-temperature structural demands.
(2) Creep Resistance
Relies on the dispersion strengthening effect of HfC particles to effectively prevent deformation and dislocation movement at high temperatures.
(3) Microstructural Stability
Recrystallization temperature above 1500°C, with well-suppressed grain growth during high-temperature use.
(4) Thermophysical Properties
Melting point approximately 2620°C, combining high thermal conductivity and low expansion coefficient with strong thermal shock resistance.
(5) Processing Adaptability
Easy to perform turning, milling, drilling, grinding, and stamping for precision machining, suitable for manufacturing complex components.
