MHC alloy, namely molybdenum hafnium carbon alloy, is to add Hf instead of Ti to form two-phase structure for molybdenum alloy strengthening.

Titanium zirconium carbon(TZC alloy) is the alloy with a high content of alloying elements of titanium, zirconium, carbon, molybdenum metal matrix elements. The most famous is the titanium-containing 1.0% to 1.5% (mass fraction), molybdenum alloy of zirconium from 0.1% to 0.3% (mass fraction) and carbon 0.12% to 0.40% (mass fraction), TZC alloy.

Titanium Zirconium Molybdenum alloy (TZM)is an alloy of 0.50% titanium, 0.08% zirconium and 0.02% carbon with the balance molybdenum.

Molybdenum alloy has excellent strength and mechanical stability at high temperatures (up to 1900°C). Their highductility and toughness provide a greater tolerance for imperfections and brittle fracture than ceramics.
